Fashion Films

A fashion film from the '20s and one from 2010. The newer was the deserving winner (chosen by Tavi) of the 'A Shaded View on Fashion' fashion film contest, I love all the models hair - and the perfect white dresses! Such a beautiful contrast is created between the stifling school house type building and the woods. Also, I now desperately need a matching felt hat and bag !

I first discovered the Library of Congress colour photo sets from the 1930s-1940s way back when, on the blogs that inspired me to start my own. They're all so amazing, especially as colour photos of everyday life in that era (in particular the photos of rural america during the depression)are not often seen. This little set is one of my favourites.
